And in those moments, it’s easy to feel like you have to hold everything together.

also deposited strength inside of you
that you may not have discovered any other way.

Your body is not working against you—it is trying to communicate with you .

A reflection on the beauty, strength, and faith found in raising exceptional children.

This devotional honors the children who reflect a different kind of beauty… and the parents who carry a remarkable kind of love.

Wonderfully Made: A Different Kind of Beauty

Some lives are not meant to be understood…

They are meant to be received.

On a day the world calls “awareness,”

heaven calls it something else—

Love.

Scripture

But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height… The Lord does not look at the things people look at.

People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16

Psalm 139:14

“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

There is a quiet lie the world sometimes tells—

Fear will tell you:
“What if something is hidden?”

But truth says:

If you are in Christ, you are already covered.

The Bible says a curse cannot land without a cause .
So if you are walking with God—seeking Him, trusting Him—you are not randomly under attack.

You are not fragile.

You are secure in Him .

Peace comes when you stop searching for hidden threats…
and start resting in known truth.

Praise is not panic.
Praise is not pressure.
Praise is trust in motion.

Many people turn to praise as a reaction to fear—trying to fight what feels overwhelming.

But praise was never meant to come from fear.
It flows from faith.

When you praise God, you are not trying to control the situation.
You are aligning your heart with the One who already has the victory.

God has already:

brought you through more than you thought you could handle
exposed what needed to be removed
begun healing what once hurt

And now… you are building.

You are no longer striving to break things down.
You are standing in what God is building in you.
You praise from a place of confidence , knowing:

Praise shifts your focus from the problem…

to the One who holds the outcome.

You don’t have to panic.

Devotional Reflection

Fear often enters through small thoughts that seem harmless at first.
The enemy does not always shout; sometimes he whispers well-timed suggestions.

A sudden worry about the future, a troubling memory, or a suggestion that something bad may happen. You might die early.
Your kids will suffer like your family did. Something bad is coming.

These thoughts can feel small at first, but if they are repeated often enough, they begin to take root in the heart.

The Bible describes these moments as fiery arrows. They are suggestions meant to disturb peace and weaken faith.

God has given His people protection.

God has given believers a shield — faith.

Faith does not deny reality.
Faith refuses to let fear decide the future.

Remember those thoughts are suggestions, not prophecy .

Faith interrupts them.

That’s why scripture says:

Isaiah 7:7

It shall not stand, nor shall it come to pass.

Faith acts as a shield , intercepting those thoughts before they settle in the mind. When we remember God’s promises,

fear loses its authority. Instead of rehearsing worry, we begin to rehearse truth.

Faith reminds us that God is present, that His plans are good, and that His peace guards our hearts.

Fear may knock at the door of the mind, but it does not have to remain there.

When faith answers the door, fear loses its voice.

Prayer

Lord, guard my mind against every arrow of fear. When worry or anxiety tries to enter my heart, remind me of Your promises.

Help me recognize thoughts that do not come from You.

Strengthen my faith so that I walk in peace and confidence each day.

Let Your truth be louder than every fearful thought.

Fear often tries to convince us that the future is already written by the past.

But the gospel tells a different story.

Through Christ, every believer receives a new spiritual identity. While families may pass down habits, struggles, and influences, they do not determine destiny. God has the power to interrupt every cycle and establish a new legacy.

Faith allows us to stand in the present with confidence, knowing that God is greater than every pattern that came before us.

Your family story is not limited to the struggles of previous generations. God can write a new chapter — one marked by healing, faith, and hope.

Some journeys to motherhood begin easily.

Others travel through waiting rooms, doctor visits, test results, procedures, and prayers whispered late at night.

For many women walking through IVF, each cycle carries both hope and fear .
Hope that this may be the moment life begins.
Fear that another attempt may end in heartbreak.

But Scripture reminds us that God is not absent in the waiting .

Sarah waited decades before Isaac was born.
Hannah cried out before Samuel arrived.
Elizabeth conceived John in what seemed like an impossible season.

The Bible is filled with stories of God working in the spaces where human strength runs out .

For some families, the miracle comes through medicine.
For others, through adoption.
For others still, through unexpected natural conception.

But the common thread in every story is this:

God sees the longing of the heart.

He sees every prayer spoken in hospital rooms, fertility clinics, and quiet bedrooms.

He is the author of life, and He is also the comforter in the waiting .

If you are walking through IVF or fertility treatments, know this:

Your journey is not forgotten.
Your prayers are not unheard.
And your story is not finished.

God has a thousand ways to fulfill the desires He places in our hearts.

Sometimes the testimony we expect looks different than the one He writes.

Heavenly Father,

You are the giver of life and the keeper of every promise.

Today we lift up every woman and family walking through the journey of infertility and IVF.
You see their tears, their doctor visits, their procedures, and the silent prayers they whisper when no one else understands.

Lord, bring peace into the waiting rooms and strength into weary hearts.

For Patty specifically, we ask that Your presence surround her with comfort and hope.
Remind her that her story is still being written.

If it is Your will, open the door for life to grow in her womb.
Guide the doctors, the treatments, and every step of the process.

But even beyond the outcome she hopes for, let her experience Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose.

Healing often begins deep within the soul.

The Bible describes the soul as the place where our mind, will, and emotions live. When pain, betrayal, trauma, or fear enter our lives, they can settle in these places and influence how we think, how we feel, and what we accept.

But God does not simply patch broken hearts.
He restores them.

When the Lord begins His work in our lives, something remarkable happens — our desires begin to change. The things that once pulled us toward destruction begin to lose their grip. Old patterns no longer feel comfortable. Our appetite shifts.

What once seemed normal no longer fits who we are becoming.

This is the work of spiritual renewal. God reshapes our thoughts, strengthens our will, and brings peace to our emotions. It is as though He performs a careful surgery within the soul, removing what was harmful and restoring what was broken.

Healing does not mean the past never happened.
It means the past no longer controls your identity.

You are no longer defined by wounds.
You are defined by the healing power of God.

Father,

It enters through memories, family stories, past losses, and painful experiences. When we have seen sickness, tragedy, or early death in our families, fear tries to whisper:

"What if it happens again?"
"What if it happens to you?"
"What if it happens to your children?"

These thoughts can feel real, but they are not always truth.

Fear works like a magnifying glass for the enemy’s lies. It tries to make future problems feel certain before they ever exist.

But God never designed His children to live under the shadow of fear.

The Bible tells us that fear does not come from Him. Instead, God gives His people power, love, and a sound mind .

Fear is one of the enemy’s oldest strategies.

It whispers through memories, past trauma, and painful family history. When we have seen sickness, loss, or tragedy in our families, fear tries to convince us that the same story will repeat itself.

It plants thoughts like:

"What if this happens to me?"
"What if this happens to my children?"
"What if our family is cursed with this pattern?"

But fear is not faith.

Fear is the imagination of disaster.
Faith is the expectation of God’s goodness.

The enemy tries to use fear as a doorway into the mind , because once fear controls the mind, it begins to influence decisions, peace, and even our spiritual confidence.

But Scripture reminds believers that fear does not come from God.

God gives His children power, love, and a sound mind .

That means we are not called to live under the shadow of anxiety about the future. Instead, we are invited to stand on the promises of God.

The Bible repeatedly speaks of long life, peace, and God’s protection over His people. While life still contains hardship, fear does not get to write the final chapter.

In Christ, our lives are secure in God’s hands.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Reflection

Many of us carry worry without even realizing it.

Sometimes it comes from experiences.
Sometimes from trauma.
Sometimes from watching others around us live in fear.

A thought about the future.
A fear about something unknown.
A concern we carry longer than we should.

Worry quietly becomes a habit of the heart. But God never intended for His children to carry the weight of tomorrow.

Scripture gives us a different path and pattern. Instead of rehearsing our fears, God invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer.

Philippians teaches that when we pray with thanksgiving, something supernatural happens:
God’s peace begins to guard our hearts and our minds.

Peace becomes the protection around our thoughts.

Worship changes our focus.

This is why worship is so powerful. You cannot fully worship and fully worry at the same time.

Worship shifts your focus from the problem to the One who holds your future. Instead of staring at the problem, we begin to remember who God is. Instead of carrying fear, we release trust.

Jeremiah reminds us that God already knows the plans He has for our lives.

Our future is never uncertain to Him. So when worry appears, we have a choice.

We can continue rehearsing fear, or we can turn our hearts toward worship and praise.

When we worship, our focus shifts from the problem to the One who holds our future.

God already sees the road ahead.

Our role is not to carry tomorrow.

Our role is to trust the One who wrote it.

God already holds the future.

So instead of carrying tomorrow, we simply bring today to God.

Praise reminds us who God is.

When wounds are rehearsed in the mind, they remain alive in the heart.

Every time we replay the betrayal, the offense, the trauma — we unknowingly give it a place to live inside us. The memory becomes a tomb instead of a testimony .

But Jesus calls His people out of tombs.

Just as Lazarus came out of the grave , still wrapped in burial garments, many believers are alive in Christ but still wearing the clothes of past pain.

Jesus said:

Forgiveness is the moment we allow God to remove the grave clothes.

Devotional Reflection

Building something meaningful—whether in business, leadership, personal growth, or spiritual growth—requires strength, clarity, and a willingness to trust God’s guidance, especially when the path forward feels uncertain.

As I’ve been working on Crown of Faith and participating in Kingdom-minded business spaces , I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t always come all at once. Sometimes, it comes through community. Sometimes through listening. Sometimes simply through showing up and being willing to learn.

What has encouraged me most is realizing that God doesn’t require us to have everything figured out before He strengthens us. He strengthens us as we move faith forward . Whether you are just starting your business, rebuilding, or quietly maintaining what God has entrusted to you, His strength is sufficient. The joy of the Lord is not dependent on speed, numbers, or visibility—it is rooted in purpose.

Progress doesn’t have to be rushed to be meaningful. Faithfulness over time carries more impact than speed. When God is the foundation, what you are building—no matter how small it feels right now—has the potential to reach far beyond what you can see, touching lives and generations to come.

If God has placed a vision on your heart, trust that He will provide the strength to carry it and the clarity to steward it well.

Heavenly Father,

Remind me that progress does not require perfection—only faithfulness.

Devotional Reflection-Hope Fulfilled: Trusting God Beyond the Waiting

There comes a moment in every faith journey when waiting gives way to hope —not because everything is resolved, but because trust has taken root.

By the time we reach this stage, faith has been tested, stretched, and refined. We have prayed through uncertainty, surrendered control, and learned to rest in God’s timing. Now, even if the promise is still unfolding, our hearts are anchored.

Hope is no longer fragile.
It is steady.

Trusting God does not always mean seeing immediate fulfillment—it means believing that God is faithful beyond the waiting . It means trusting that what He promised is still alive, still possible, and still purposeful.

God does not waste pain.
He does not overlook tears.
And He does not forget His promises.

Restoration does not always arrive all at once. Sometimes it comes as renewed strength, deeper peace, clearer vision, and quiet confidence that God is not finished .

What once felt delayed now feels intentional.
What once felt broken now feels strengthened.
What once felt uncertain now rests in hope.

Faith for Entrepreneurs & Builders of Vision

In business, calling, and entrepreneurship, this stage of trust is transformational.

It’s the moment when you continue to show up—even when results are still developing. When you build with confidence instead of fear. When you move forward knowing that God’s plan is bigger than your current metrics .

Hope-filled faith in business looks like:

Continuing to plant seeds even before harvest
Trusting God with growth, timing, and impact
Measuring success by obedience, not comparison
Leading with integrity, patience, and vision

Restoration in business doesn’t always mean overnight success—it often means sustainable growth, clarity of purpose, and alignment with God’s will .

When God restores, He doesn’t just bless the work—
He strengthens the builder.

There is a moment in every faith journey when trusting God requires more than belief—it requires surrender .

After prayers have been prayed…
After tears have been cried…
After faith has already been exercised…
We reach a place where the question is no longer “Do I believe God can?”
but “Will I trust Him even if I don’t know how?”

This season is where faith matures.

Part 2 of Trust in God speaks to the quiet, sacred space between promise and fulfillment—the place where outcomes remain unclear, plans shift, and expectations must be laid down at God’s feet. It is here that God gently invites us to stop leaning on our own understanding and begin resting fully in His wisdom.

Surrender does not mean giving up.
It means releasing control.

God is not asking for certainty—He is asking for trust.
Not clarity—but obedience.
Not perfection—but faith.

When we surrender the timeline, the method, and the outcome, we make room for God to move in ways we could never orchestrate ourselves.

DEVOTIONAL REFLECTION: TRUST IN GOD WHEN THE WAITING IS HARD (DELAYS, FAITH, AND MOTHERHOOD)

Waiting on God can be one of the most sacred—and most painful—places of faith.

What begins with hope can quietly turn into years of prayer, unanswered questions, and emotional exhaustion. In seasons like these, faith is not loud. It is often whispered through tears, clung to in silence, and practiced one day at a time. Some delays aren’t denials — they’re divine preparation. Today we’re choosing faith over frustration and learning to keep moving while we wait.

This devotional reflects a journey into motherhood marked by infertility, divine delays, loss, and perseverance . We explore how faith grows strongest when we trust God beyond our timeline.

After marriage, what seemed like a simple step toward starting a family became a long road of waiting. Yet three and a half years later, God answered with the birth of a son. Nearly nine years after that, another son came—this time through IVF. Even then, the journey did not end. A heartbreaking miscarriage in January 2024 and additional IVF challenges followed. Still, faith remained.

This story reminds us that God’s promises are not canceled by delays . What we experience as waiting, God uses as preparation. What feels like silence is often sacred work happening beneath the surface.

Just as Abraham believed God when fulfillment seemed impossible…
Just as Hannah cried out in barrenness and was remembered…
We, too, are invited to trust that God is faithful—even when the promise feels unfinished .

Delays are not denials.
Waiting is not wasted.
And God is always working.

FAITH FOR ENTREPRENEURS & VISION BUILDERS

The same faith required in motherhood is often required in business, calling, and entrepreneurship .

Many God-given visions begin with a promise—but grow through seasons of uncertainty, slow growth, closed doors, and testing. Like Abraham, entrepreneurs are often asked to believe before they see , invest before the return appears, and obey before clarity comes.

If God gave you the vision, He is also responsible for the provision.

Faith in business means trusting God when:

The numbers don’t yet make sense
The audience hasn’t arrived
The doors seem delayed
The growth feels slower than expected

Just as God counted Abraham righteous because of his faith, He honors obedience, perseverance, and trust —even in the unseen stages of building.

What feels delayed may simply be developing .
