John 19:30 (NIV)
“When He had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”

Devotional

Three powerful words changed everything:

“It is finished.”

Jesus didn’t say, “It has started.”
He didn’t say, “Try to complete it.”

He said—it’s done.

That means:

• Your debt is paid
• Your salvation is secured
• Your victory is established

You don’t have to fight for approval—
you already have it.

So many people live trying to earn what Jesus already finished.

But God is inviting you into a different posture:
Not striving… but resting
Not earning… but receiving
Not fearing… but trusting

Today, step out of performance and into peace.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You that the work is finished. Help me to stop striving

and start resting in what You’ve already done. Help me live in that truth.

Teach me to live from victory, not for it.

Amen.

Affirmation

“I walk in the finished work of Jesus—nothing is missing.”

Reflection

When Jesus said, “It is finished,”
He meant:

• The debt is paid
• The battle is won
• The work is complete

You don’t have to strive—
you walk in what’s already done.
