Day 5 —The Stone is Rolled Away

Scripture

Matthew 28:2 (NIV)
“There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.”

Devotional

The stone wasn’t rolled away so Jesus could get out.
He already had the power to rise.

The stone was rolled away so we could see—
so we could witness the miracle.

Sometimes in life, it feels like things are blocked:

• Doors won’t open
• Prayers feel delayed
• Obstacles feel too big

But this moment reminds us of something powerful:

No stone is too heavy for God.

What looks impossible to you…
is already under God’s authority.

That stone represented:

• fear
• finality
• limitation

But God removed it—completely.

And He is still doing the same today.

Every barrier standing in your way—
God has the power to move it.

Not by your strength…
but by His.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being the God who moves what I cannot.

Every obstacle, every limitation, every closed door—I place it in Your hands.

Roll away every stone that stands in the way of Your purpose for my life.

Amen.

“Every stone in my life is being moved by the power of God.”

Reflection

The stone wasn’t rolled away for Jesus—
it was rolled away for YOU to see the miracle.

Every obstacle, every barrier, every “impossible” thing—
God has the power to move it.
