Peace Over My Child

Day 6: Peace Over My Child

Scripture

Isaiah 54:13
“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be their peace.”

Devotional

As a parent, it’s natural to think about the future.

You may wonder:
Will they be okay?
Will they be understood?
Will they be cared for?
What will their life look like?

These thoughts can quietly turn into worry.

But here’s the truth:

Your child’s future is not resting on your shoulders alone.

It is in God’s hands.

And He is not uncertain.
He is not confused.
He is not unprepared.

God already sees your child’s life—
every step, every need, every moment.

And His promise is not just provision…

It is peace.

Peace in their mind.
Peace in their environment.
Peace in their journey.

Even when you don’t have all the answers—
God already does.

And you can rest in that.

Reflection

There may be moments of uncertainty…
questions about the future…
concerns you carry quietly.

But your child’s life is not in your hands alone—
it is in
God’s hands.

And He promises peace.

Not just for you—
but for your child.

Prayer

Lord, cover my child with Your peace, protection, and presence.

I release every fear about my child’s future to You.
Cover them with Your peace, protection, and presence.
Remind me that You are in control and that You love them even more than I do.
Amen.

Affirmation

“My child is covered, protected, and filled with God’s peace.

Faith Declaration

I declare that my child is covered by God.
Peace surrounds their mind, body, and future.
No fear will take root in me.
God is guiding every step of their life.
My child is safe in His hands.

Reflection Prompt

What fears can I surrender to God today?
